Title and Summary

Director, Business Administration, Data, Insights & Analytics (Chief of Staff) The Data & Services (D&S) team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services.

This Chief of Staff position supports the EVP of Data, Insights & Analytics (DI&A), one of the product groups within Data & Services driving more than $1B in annual revenue for Mastercard. DI&A unlocks the value of data. You will be responsible for the development and execution of the team’s objectives, supporting and leading initiatives that contribute to Mastercard’s goal of generating 50% of revenue from Services.

Main responsibilities include:
• Enable strategic initiatives and achievement of objectives. Lead taskforces, special projects, content creation, and the team’s dynamic response across a diverse set of topics. Examples may include emerging product development topics (e.g. AI, crypto, open banking, multi-rail, ESG, credit risk, consent management, etc.), product strategy (e.g., pricing, GTM, etc.), M&A/acquisition strategy, thought leadership, team narrative development, ad hoc leadership needs.
• Lead corporate commitments. Lead Data, Insights & Analytics through cycled commitments and planning tasks. E.g., priorities/objectives, quarterly business reviews, quarterly operating reviews, investor relations needs, corporate scorecard tracking, board preparation, risk tracking, and more.
• Drive effective team organization and communication. Organize leadership meetings, all-hands calls, and internal and external executive communications. Drive a positive and productive culture. Overall point person for communications.
• Nimbly respond to what the business needs. Execute on urgent needs, be a sounding board for team members, serve as a connection point for incoming (and outgoing) team requests.

• Familiarity with/interest in product management
• Familiarity with/interest in data (transaction data, new data sources, etc.)

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
