Why We Need You

At Eigen Labs, our financial health is pivotal to our mission's success. We need a Head of Finance who can craft and execute financial strategies that align with our ambitious growth plans. You will be the cornerstone of our financial operations, ensuring we have the resources and foresight to push boundaries and achieve our vision. What You’ll Be Doing

As Head of Finance, you will be at the helm of all financial activities at Eigen Labs, steering our financial future with precision and insight. Your role is integral to our success, encompassing strategic planning, financial management, and team leadership.

* Design and execute financial strategies to support Eigen Labs' growth and objectives.

* Oversee all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

* Manage cash flow, investments, and capital allocation to optimize financial performance.

* Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

* Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making across the organization.

* Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial implications of business initiatives and investments.

* Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, accountants, and tax advisors.

* Understand and manage financial aspects unique to on-chain activities.

* Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, handling FP&A duties until the team is fully established.

You Need These Qualifications

* 10+ years of experience in a finance role, preferably within a startup or high-growth environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.

* Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.

* Proven experience in successfully guiding a company through private financing processes.

* Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a finance and accounting team.

* Exceptional financial modeling skills.

It Would Be Nice If You

* Have deep experience with financial aspects of blockchain or crypto projects.

* Are comfortable working in a partially remote environment and are open to occasional travel.

* Are experienced in M&A, capital markets and investor communications.

* Have a passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
