Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to join our finance team. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing the billing operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing within a SaaS environment and a deep understanding of enterprise financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Management: Generate, review, and distribute accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
• Customer Accounts: Maintain and update customer billing information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Payment Processing: Monitor and process incoming payments, ensuring proper application to customer accounts.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of billing accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve billing discrepancies and issues, coordinating with customers and internal teams to ensure satisfactory outcomes.
• Reporting: Prepare and analyze billing reports, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
• Compliance: Ensure billing practices comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service, responding to billing inquiries and providing support to customers as needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, customer success, and finance teams to ensure seamless billing operations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of billing experience, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise fintech environment.
• Skills:
• Strong proficiency in billing software and ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with Netsuite is a plus.
