Overview

As the Chief of Staff, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for driving strategic initiatives, facilitating communication across departments, and ensuring the efficient execution of organizational goals. You will work closely with the Executive and Leadership team, and report directly into the Founder/CEO.

Strategic Planning

• Work closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and refine the company's strategic vision and goals
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, initiatives, and metrics for tracking progress.

Operational Management

• Oversee the implementation of key projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines.
• Optimize organizational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with department heads to address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Serve as a liaison between different departments, fostering collaboration and communication to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, workshops, and decision-making processes to drive consensus and alignment on key initiatives.
• Coordinate with HR to implement talent development programs and initiatives that support organizational goals.

Executive Support

• Provide direct support to the CEO and executive team, including preparing briefing materials, conducting research, and facilitating decision-making processes.
• Accompany the CEO in executive meetings documenting notes and takeaways to be re-delegated to the team.
• Manage special projects and initiatives on behalf of the CEO, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in a previous strategic-leadership role, preferably as a Chief of Staff.
• Prior experience working directly with a Founder or CEO.
• Previous experience in an early-stage start-up is a must.
• An understanding of crypto concepts such as blockchain and web3.
• Previous experience working in FinTech or web3 industry preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to execute, maintain accountability, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong process and project management skills with attention to detail, proactive and well organized
• Self-motivated, critical thinker and adept at working independently and in a dispersed team environment covering multiple and varied tasks
• Intuitive, highly ethical, and comfortable to question and challenge
• Ability to travel as needed.
