Why This Role Matters

As Country Manager for Colombia and Mexico, you will lead our go-to-market strategy and own the sales function in two of our fastest-growing markets. This is a foundational commercial leadership role — you’ll be responsible for driving top-line growth, unlocking new revenue opportunities, and helping shape how our product comes to life in the region.

You will work cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless execution across:

  • Customer acquisition and onboarding

  • Strategic partnerships

  • Regulatory & financial compliance

  • Localized product feedback and iteration

  • Operational execution and P&L ownership

This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and is obsessed with delivering customer value. You’ll be the face of Mural Pay on the ground — developing our brand, closing deals, and scaling trusted infrastructure across Latin America.


What You'll Do

  • Own our GTM strategy and sales execution for Colombia and Mexico, from pipeline to close.

  • Drive new customer growth across enterprise, fintech, and high-volume cross-border use cases.

  • Develop and lead commercial partnerships with banks, payment processors, and local fintech platforms.

  • Refine product-market fit by working closely with Product and Engineering on region-specific insights.

  • Oversee compliance and operational readiness in partnership with internal legal and regulatory teams.

  • Recruit and manage future team members and contractors across sales, ops, and success functions.

  • Report directly to the CEO, acting as a thought partner on LatAm strategy and expansion.

  • Represent Mural Pay in the region, developing our reputation as a trusted, innovative payments leader.


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, startups, or consulting — with a focus on commercial ownership, business development, or sales.

  • Proven ability to lead go-to-market initiatives, close deals, and scale customer-facing operations.

  • Deep knowledge of LatAm financial systems, payments infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English — written and spoken.

  • Strong cross-functional operator: you move fluidly between sales, strategy, and product feedback loops.

  • You are a builder — willing to hustle, iterate, and lead with hands-on execution.

  • Based in Colombia, with the ability to travel within the region as needed.
