Position Overview
We are seeking a Payment Product Manager responsible for the design of payment platforms and channel networks, driving user experience upgrades in payment processes and supporting business growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in the global payment ecosystem, a deep understanding of international payment systems, and the ability to efficiently integrate with payment channels. The role requires optimizing payment success rates, transaction volumes, and compliance, with familiarity in solutions such as global remittance, virtual bank account collections, card issuance, and acquiring.
Responsibilities
- Build and integrate platform products for cryptocurrency deposits, withdrawals, and exchanges, driving the growth of crypto payment services.
- Develop local and cross-border fiat on/off-ramp transaction pathways and platform capabilities, covering scenarios such as credit card acquiring, wallet acquiring, VA umbrella accounts, and cross-border remittances.
- Research and connect with global payment collection and settlement channels (e.g., Visa Direct, Thunes, MoneyGram, Banking Circle) to ensure payment stability and compliance.
- Monitor and analyze core payment data (success rates, chargeback rates, transaction costs) to drive product iteration and optimization.
- Stay informed on payment regulations across regions, ensuring product design complies with clearing and settlement requirements, and collaborate with risk and compliance teams to safeguard secure and compliant transactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above; graduates from 211/985 universities or QS Top 100 institutions are preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in payments, cross-border remittances, or fintech product management. Familiarity with mainstream payment scenarios such as credit card acquiring, wallet acquiring, VA account structures, fund settlement, and remittances is preferred.
- Extensive experience in channel integration, with knowledge of global payment networks (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA, FPS). Relevant integration experience is a plus.
- Strong background in building payment platforms (e.g., payment core, channel core, channel routing, clearing and settlement systems).
- Experience in payment commercialization, with the ability to optimize fees, reduce transaction costs, and improve user growth and retention.
- Data-driven mindset, capable of analyzing conversion rates, payment success rates, and user activity data to drive product improvements.
- Proficiency in English as a working language, with the ability to liaise with global payment partners and financial institutions.
