About the Role

You won't be stuck writing documentation all day. You will be writing code that ships to production. You will work alongside senior engineers to integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and smart algorithms into our payment systems. This is a chance to learn modern AI engineering (RAG, Agents, Vector DBs) while mastering the fundamentals of scalable software development.

Responsibilities

• Write Code That Matters: Build and maintain backend services (Python/Java) that connect AI models to our payment processing systems.
• Build Smart Features: Help develop features like an AI-powered chatbot for bill disputes or a real-time anomaly detector for transactions.
• Work with Modern AI Tools: Get hands-on with LangChain, Vector Databases (like Pinecone), and LLM APIs (OpenAI, etc.) to build "agentic" workflows.
• Learn the Fintech Ropes: Understand how money actually moves—witness the challenges of real-time data, security, and scale.
• Own Small Features End-to-End: Design, code, test, and deploy your own features with the support and mentorship of senior engineers.
• Optimize and Debug: Learn how to make AI fast (low latency) and reliable (99.99% uptime) for financial applications.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; 0-3 years of experience is expected
• Coding Skills: Proficiency in at least one backend language like Java or Python. You should be comfortable with data structures, algorithms, and writing clean, readable code.
• You have played around with AI tools. You know how to call an API (REST), and you understand the basics of how LLMs work.
• Database Knowledge: You understand SQL and how to interact with a database (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Version Control: You know your way around Git/GitHub.
• Fresh graduates are preferred

Preferred

• Side Projects with AI implementation or deployment work
• AI Framework Exposure: You’ve tinkered with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Hugging Face.
• Internship Experience: Previous internship in software development or a fintech-related field.
