Job Overview

As a Cryptocurrency Treasury Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing the company's daily treasury operations related to digital currencies. Your core duties involve ensuring the liquidity, security, and accuracy of digital assets and fiat funds. You will need to work closely with internal teams (such as Customer Service, Risk Management, and Technology) and external partners (such as exchanges, banks, and payment gateways) to optimize treasury processes and mitigate associated risks. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of blockchain technology, possess exceptional attention to detail, and be capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury Management & Operations:

• Execute daily cryptocurrency deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and on-chain consolidations.
• Manage the company's hot wallet balances across major exchanges to ensure trading liquidity.
• Execute inter-exchange fund transfers.
• Monitor the activity and balances of all wallet addresses in real-time.

Reconciliation & Accounting:

• Perform daily reconciliation of digital currency and fiat assets to ensure book balances match actual balances.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies; collaborate with relevant teams to handle exceptional transactions (e.g., failed withdrawals, accounting errors).
• Prepare and provide clear treasury operations reports to Finance and management.

Security & Risk Control:

• Strictly adhere to company security protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), especially when handling private keys and seed phrases.
• Monitor network gas fees to optimize transfer costs and timing.
• Identify and report potential risks in treasury operations (e.g., network congestion, blacklisted addresses, suspicious activity).
• Assist in managing multi-signature wallet processes, co-authorizing transactions with team members.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Act as a treasury operations expert, providing professional support to the customer service team for user fund-related issues.
• Collaborate with the technology team to suggest improvements for wallet infrastructure.
• Maintain good communication with third-party partners like exchanges and custodial service providers to resolve operational issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant treasury/operations experience at a cryptocurrency exchange, blockchain project, or digital asset custodian.
• In-depth understanding of blockchain technology principles and familiarity with transaction mechanisms of mainstream public chains like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
• Proficient in using blockchain explorers (e.g., Etherscan) and data analysis.
• Clear understanding of security concepts such as private keys, seed phrases, hot wallets, and cold wallets, with a strong security awareness.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with multi-signature wallet operations.
• Familiarity with the workings of DeFi protocols (e.g., Staking, Lending, Yield Farming).
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automating routine tasks.
• Familiarity with compliance processes (AML/KYC).
