Track 1: Information Security & Compliance Intern

Responsibilities

  • Assist with risk assessments and compliance audits (ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI DSS, GDPR), supporting external audits and client due diligence.
  • Drive internal risk remediation projects, track issue progress, coordinate cross-departmental support, and optimize processes such as access control and supply chain security.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, maintain documentation, and conduct initial incident response.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Law, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with at least one information security management standard; entry-level certifications (e.g., Security+, CISA) are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin; availability for a 6–12 month internship.

Track 2: Office & Endpoint Security / AI Security Intern

Responsibilities

  • Endpoint & Office Security: Harden Windows/macOS baselines, test and deploy MDM policies, handle EDR/DLP alerts, and support zero-trust architecture.
  • Security Operations & Automation: Manage employee access lifecycle, leverage workflow automation tools, monitor social media for security events, and maintain vulnerability intelligence bots.
  • AI Security & Innovation: Research large language model (LLM) security in office scenarios, use AI tools for log analysis and automated response, conduct penetration testing and compliance checks.
  • Security Culture & Support: Deliver security training, configure and distribute hardware tokens, and draft security manuals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s student in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields; must hold valid Hong Kong ID or visa.
  • Knowledge of Windows/macOS security mechanisms; scripting skills in Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with EDR, MDM, and common security tools (Wireshark, Burp Suite); ability to craft effective AI prompts.
  • Detail-oriented, strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, and high compliance awareness.
  • Preferred: SRC vulnerability submissions, CTF achievements, cloud platform experience (AWS/GCP/Azure), or workflow automation development.
