Role overview
Redotpay is entering Latin America, one of the world's fastest-growing regions for crypto adoption, stablecoin use, and remittances. The Marketing & Community Manager (LATAM) will own regional go-to-market: building the Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking user and developer communities, localizing content, and developing partnerships that drive user acquisition across Brazil and Spanish-speaking LATAM markets.
Key responsibilities
- Regional community management — build, moderate, and grow community channels (Twitter/X, Telegram, Discord, Instagram) with localized content and engagement in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
- Content & localisation — develop and execute a social/content calendar for LATAM audiences (educational threads, breaking news, AMAs, memes, video) adapted to Brazilian and Spanish-speaking culture.
- Partnerships & KOL network — leverage an existing network of LATAM Web3 projects, builders, creators, and KOLs to build partnerships, collaborations, and regional activations.
- Market entry & growth — identify and onboard local users, communities, and merchants, converting the region's remittance/inflation-driven crypto demand into Redotpay adoption.
- Events & ecosystem — plan and run local meetups, workshops, AMAs, and conference presence across key LATAM cities.
- Trend & local insight — capture local market trends, competitor activity, and community sentiment; report regional growth metrics to the Hong Kong team.
- Crisis & community risk — monitor and mitigate FUD, scams, and misinformation within Portuguese/Spanish-language communities.
Qualifications
- Native (or full professional) Portuguese; fluent English; working proficiency in Spanish.
- 3+ years in Web3 community growth, partnerships, and business development with demonstrable experience specifically in Brazil and Latin America (e.g., Solana ecosystem, blockchain gaming, crypto communities).
- Hands-on experience managing Telegram and Discord communities at scale.
- An existing network of LATAM Web3 projects, builders, KOLs, and communities is essential.
- Deep cultural and market knowledge of Brazil and broader LATAM (crypto adoption, payments, remittance landscape).
- Social media tooling (X, Telegram, Discord, analytics), copywriting, and content production skills for trilingual audiences.
