About the Role

As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for founding the initial marketing strategy for RISC Zero, while fostering a culture of creativity, agility, and continuous learning. Collaborating closely with our CEO, Engineering, Product, Growth, and Ops teams, your role will be to align all marketing efforts towards our company's vision, creating a unified roadmap for brand growth and customer engagement.

We've created the world's first zkVM capable of running arbitrary code as a zero-knowledge proof. Your role involves building and driving marketing to expand our ecosystem, utilizing your market insights and strategic acumen to significantly influence our trajectory. Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the company that aligns with our overall business goals and growth ambitions.

• Message Creation: Translate our complex product offerings into clear, compelling marketing messages that resonate with our target audience and distinguish our brand in the market.

• Marketing Mix Management: Lead all aspects of marketing, including but not limited to social, digital marketing, event planning, and PR initiatives, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand presence across all channels.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and product teams to align strategies, integrate marketing activities into the sales process, and leverage product developments for growth opportunities.

• Market Analysis: Regularly analyze market trends and competitors to adjust marketing strategy as needed, ensuring our approach remains effective and relevant.

• Performance Tracking: Define and track key KPIs to measure the success of marketing activities, making data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns and allocate resources effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a marketing team in a web3 startup environment preferrably in the zk space.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficiency in digital marketing methodologies and best practices.

Utilizing a ZK Coprocessor to assist or enhance the compute of an on-chain application, we have created a unique package - the RISC Zero ZK Coprocessor, comprised of the zkVM, Bonsai, and ETH Relay. Now, we're ambitiously constructing an entire ecosystem around this groundbreaking technology.

To ensure effective collaboration and seamless communication across our global team, all candidates must be available to overlap with the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone for at least 3 hours during regular business hours. This requirement is essential for maintaining efficient workflow, participating in team meetings, and facilitating timely responses to customer inquiries and internal requests.
