Description
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who will help develop a social media strategy that will strengthen the Cosmos community, and engage our audiences. They will do so via content creation, creative activations and/or partnerships with the community, and by collaborating with the community to drive Cosmos’ culture and grow our share of voice.
Our ideal candidate can become one with the community and understands the pulse of trends/culture. This candidate understands what gathers and drives the community, and knows how to provide value. They deeply care about bringing the community’s voice forward, and giving them a space in Cosmos. We are looking for a candidate that is not afraid to experiment, but also knows how to create systems that drive constant opportunities for organic content creation.
This role is public-facing and needs to be comfortable interacting with the community in a healthy and constructive way.
Role
- Develop and execute social media strategies aimed at community engagement and growth.
- Create engaging and informative content in long and short form, covering updates and developments, engaging with the community, or supporting a marketing campaign.
- Manage and coordinate Cosmos’ official communication channels: social media, blogs, and communities for content distribution and creation, both for content produced by this role or content produced by the team/ecosystem. X, Tiktok, Youtube, are some of the channels we expect to be covered.
- Develop and maintain key influencer and community relationships, engaging with leaders, brands, and communities in Cosmos to empower them and co-create content and/or activations that build a powerful network.
- Create systems, and standards, and maintain a proper tool stack to efficiently and effectively manage channels in a scalable way.
- Identify what resonates with the community, and work with product, marketing, and work cross-functionally to engage the community across campaigns.
- Manage vendors and tooling that assist in social media management or content creation (i.e. creatives, designers, Typefully).
Qualifications:
Required:
- +2-4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and/or ecosystem.
- Marketing and multi-media creative experience (video, image, audio).
- Portfolio of high-impact social media content and campaigns.
- Experience managing social media tooling and data reporting/analytics tools.
- Experience launching and scaling community campaigns or activations with measurable results.
- Technical confidence and fluency, highly passionate about web3.
- Self-starter with a high level of motivation and independence.
- Strong understanding of internet and Web3 culture, memes, and community dynamics.
- Confident and fluent in English.
