About the Role
As a Senior Global Events Marketing Manager at Yellow Card, you will own the strategy, execution, and performance of events across priority markets. You will drive Yellow Card's presence at high-impact events where our teams will engage senior decision-makers, strengthen institutional relationships, and drive measurable business outcomes. Sitting at the intersection of marketing, sales, partnerships, and leadership, you will elevate events into a strategic growth channel and focus on revenue-driving touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Events Strategy & Execution
- Own and lead Yellow Card's global events strategy across conferences, owned events, executive roundtables, and partner activations.
- Design high-impact experiences tailored to institutional clients, regulators, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Build annual and quarterly event roadmaps aligned to business priorities and regional growth goals.
- Identify and prioritize flagship events and sponsorship opportunities that maximize visibility and ROI.
2. VIP & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with senior leadership, sales, and partnerships teams to curate high-value engagements for strategic accounts.
- Develop tailored event experiences for executives, including private dinners, roundtables, and closed-door sessions.
- Ensure cohesive pre-, during-, and post-event engagement for top-tier partners — from invitation and briefing to follow-up and pipeline handoff.
3. Event Production & Operations
- Oversee end-to-end event execution, including content programming, speaker management, logistics, vendor coordination, travel, and on-site delivery.
- Manage agencies, venues, and third-party event partners across multiple regions.
- Ensure consistent brand experience and quality across all events globally.
- Develop scalable processes, playbooks, and systems for repeatable excellence.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing to amplify event reach through integrated campaigns (email, paid, social, PR).
- Partner with Product Marketing and Brand Comms to shape event narratives and messaging.
- Collaborate with Sales to align event strategy with pipeline generation and deal acceleration.
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure compliance across regions.
5. Performance Measurement & ROI
- Define success metrics for events, including pipeline influence, revenue impact, engagement, and brand lift.
- Track and report on event performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Implement tools and systems to measure ROI and improve attribution across the funnel.
6. Innovation & Experience Design
- Push creative boundaries to deliver differentiated event experiences in the fintech and digital payments space.
- Leverage emerging technologies (including AI) to enhance personalization, efficiency, and attendee engagement.
- Continuously benchmark against industry leaders and competitors to keep Yellow Card ahead of the curve.
